Facebook sucks the impetus to blog. No more photos or stories, but I did just pull a bunch of 2011 pics to print for the office desk flip-book, so I figured I’d post them as well.

So fast to get these up the very next day!
Molly was a princess, Jackson Spiderman (of course). Fun night at the Hutton’s party. We probably covered a total of 10 houses which was plenty.
We started off by stopping by Grandma and Grandpa’s house:
Sally was John McEnroe and I was The Greatest American Hero.
Of course when we got to the party, I found out that costumes were “optional” for parents which meant we were the only two yahoo’s dressed crazy. Jackson and Molly had a great time with Maddie and Ellie Hutton, Faye Hutton, Lizzy and Sophie Cranna, and Gav and Imogen Wettlaufer.

An outing with the Fox’s and the King’s to The Farm up in Snohomish. Not a ton of pics, but the kids had a great time.

2 of our decking boards started rotting a little by the water spigot, so rather than repair or replace, we (I) gutted the whole front porch, put on new Trex decking, and added 150 square feet to the thing. We had the ceiling lights put in, and nice cedar to the underside of the porch which really lightened things up. The rock wall was just finished and now it’s up to Sally to figure out which cascading flowers she wants to use there. I’m mostly done – just need to finish up the paint and stair railing. With the afternoon sun we get out there, it’s going to be a perfect spot for some rocking chairs.

Jackson loves his cake. We heard all about the great time he had baking with Grandma this week. It tasted GREAT!

Spiderman Bouncy castle. Spiderman cake (made by Sally!). Lots of kids and parents…and thankfully not at our house.
A couple days earlier on Jackson’s actual birthday, we went to Grasslawn park in Redmond. The kids were FEARLESS climbing the ropes and going down slides. Molly was out-climbing kids 2 years older than her. That place has changed a LOT from when I played there.

Birthday Party Pictures from Luca’s party. Jackson and Molly started off a little sour, but they loved it once they warmed up. So much fun to see the firehouse and all the gear from the firemen.
Jackson and Molly check out the hammock on the front porch. Very cute.
Party Pictures – we had some friends over for dinner a few weeks back. The kids all got along so well.

Sally should fill this out, but she’s sleeping. Sally, the kids, and her parents made a quick trip to Spokane with Monica and Walt to “extend” the visit a little. They were also able to meet up with her old friend Peggy Maxner which was great. Lots of time playing with the kids and running all over town.
